Well,

What can I say that has not been said before...

There's not one event my life (good or bad) that was not shaped by, involved with, or centered around dipping.

I started at 12 years old with Happy Days at a camp out...went to Kodiak...and then became a Cope Long Cut addict.

I've tried to quit many times....and it was a joke everytime...once I quit and decided it was ok to switch to a brand I didn't really like so I wouldn't dip as much...well, I just got addicted to it.

But, around July 1 - my 10 year old son was coming to spend the summer with me, my daughters it was harder and harder to fool them that I had "coffee cups" all over the place. My son was too smart, I would not fool him.

As I drove to the airport, I had a big dip in....I pulled into the airport garage...and I spit the dip out, I closed my eyes, bowed my head, and asked God to do what I knew I could not do...and release me from a burden that had consumed my life...and that my son never know how weak I have been and that his father who he looks up to was more concerned about dipping than being on time to pick him up.

God did answer my prayer...and strangely enough - I have not had any desire to dip...since I quit, I notice the Cope babe (at the UST display) is not as good looking as I once thought, Cope seems to be on sale all the time, and I seem to have alot of extra cash in my wallet....

I'm done being a slave to dip...I thank you all...we all need to be a witness for this site...and to reach out to others so that more can be released from the evil bondage of Skoal, Cope, Red Man, etc.
